Policy Brief of Emission Testing in Jakarta

The Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta collaborated with Vital Strategies to conduct an Inventory Study of Air Pollution Sources in 2020. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the contributors to air pollution in Jakarta were from the transportation sector, especially for NOx (72.4%), CO (96.36%), PM10 (57.99%) and PM2.5 (67.03%). 

The Head of The Environmental Agency of DKI Jakarta, Asep Kuswanto explained that in the research, it was clear that motorized vehicles were a key sector that must be addressed to improve air quality in Jakarta. See the full explanation in the following video.
