Initiated in 2002, Car Free Day in Jakarta has expanded from being only once a month to having a weekly recurring schedule right at the centre of the city. Car Free Day is accessible every Sunday from 06:00-11:00 WIB throughout Jl. Jenderal Sudirman - Jl. M. H. Thamrin (from the Bundaran HI  roundabout to Senayan roundabout)

West Jakarta: Jl. Gajah Mada and Jl. Hayam Wuruk (from the intersection between Zainul Arifin and Gajah Mada/Hayam Wuruk and Sukarjo Wiryopranoto to the intersection between Gajah Mada/Hayam Wuruk and Mangga Besar Raya, second week of every month)

Central Jakarta: Jl. Suryopranoto (every third Sunday of every month, 06:00-11:00 WIB)

East Jakarta: Jl. Pemuda (from Pemuda and Velodrome intersection and Pemuda and Bekasi Raya intersection, second and fourth week of every month), Jl. R.A. Fadillah

• Setiabudi: Along Karet Pedurenan Road, every third Sunday of every month at 06:00-10:00 WIB.
   
• Kebayoran Lama: Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda (from the intersection between Jalan KH Sya'fi Hadzami and Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda to the intersection between Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda and Jalan Cendrawasih Raya/Darma Putra Raya), every fourth Sunday of every month at 06:00 -10:00 WIB.
